Virtual Author Talks-November 2023

Southwest Georgia Regional Library showcases a virtual author talk series each month featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world.  The featured writers and thought leaders will cover a wide range of fiction and nonfiction genres.    

virtual series takes place two to four times a month and includes the opportunity to ask questions to the author.  A complete list of events is available on SWGRL virtual author talk series website at libraryc.org/swgrl. All author events are archived on the website and can be viewed at a later date.

Author Talks for the month of November include:

Get Good with Money and Reach Your Financial Goals with Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche, New York Times Bestselling Author and Award-Winning Podcast Host of Brown Ambition, Thursday, November 9 at 2PM EST.

Why She Writes - An Afternoon Chat with Joy Harjo, Internationally Renowned Performer, Writer and Poet of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Author of Catching the Light, Thursday, November 16 at 4PM EST.

Power of Women in Science Fiction: Naomi Alderman on Writing Dystopian Worlds, International Bestselling Author of The Power, The Future, and Creator of Zombies, Run!?, Thursday, November 30 at 3PM EST.
