The Decatur County – Gilbert H. Gragg Library serves as the headquarters for the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System. Providing a wide range of material, the library collection includes contemporary and classic fiction and nonfiction titles, books on CD, large print materials, music CDs, and DVDs. As a member of PINES, you can borrow materials from across the state.
Our genealogy room offers local histories, yearbooks, microfilm of local newspapers, and numerous other helpful resources. Our public computers allow patrons the opportunity to check their email, work on papers, and use the Internet.

Our children’s room consists of classic and contemporary print and DVD titles for children of all ages and reading levels. The children’s room also has six computers with games and learning activities appropriate for your child’s learning level.
Events for Children
Toddler Time: Every Tuesday at 10:00 am
Come play with other children, hear fun stories, dance to music, and enjoy sensory play.
Elementary Storytime: 1st Tuesday of the Month at 4:00 pm
Come meet other children, hear great stories, learn new songs, and make crafts.
Minecraft Club: 2nd Thursday of the Month at 4:00 pm
Come build your world at the library! You are welcome to bring your own device to use. Ages 8-12.
Library Legos: 3rd Thursday of the Month at 4:00 pm
Come build with Legos, K’NEX, and other building materials. For all ages.
